Rather than waiting for a fixed interval, Pulse Logger would continuously capture condition-based signals — battery health trends, brake wear indicators, fault codes — directly from each vehicle's ECUs. Pulse Insights would then surface fault patterns across the fleet: for example, flagging a specific component that's failing earlier than expected across a particular vehicle batch, before it causes a breakdown.
Where Pulse Commander Would Fit
When a vehicle shows an early warning sign, a service coordinator could run a remote diagnostic through Pulse Commander before deciding whether it needs an immediate depot visit or can safely finish its current route — turning a reactive 'vehicle broke down on route' event into a planned, low-disruption service stop.
The Kind of Outcome This Is Designed to Produce
The goal of this architecture is straightforward: fewer unplanned breakdowns, maintenance scheduled around actual vehicle condition instead of a fixed calendar, and service teams that know what's wrong before a vehicle arrives at the depot.
